What we’d like to hear about
A rate or threshold that looks out of date
This is the most useful message you can send us. Rates change, and a stale figure makes the calculator wrong for everyone using it. If you can, include the state, the figure you expected and a link to the official revenue office page showing it — that turns a fix into a five-minute job. The rates currently in use, and when each was last verified, are listed on the About page.
A calculation that looks wrong
If a result doesn’t match what you or your accountant worked out, tell us. Include the inputs you used and the figure you expected. We can’t see what you entered — calculator inputs never leave your browser, as described in the Privacy Policy — so the numbers you send us are the only way we can reproduce it.
Partnership and licensing enquiries
If you want to embed these calculators, license the rate data, or work together on something for accountants or bookkeepers, we’re open to the conversation. Tell us what you have in mind and who you’re building for.
What we can’t help with
We can’t give individual tax advice. That means we can’t tell you what your business owes, whether your entities are grouped, whether a particular contractor payment counts as wages, or what to do about an assessment you’ve received. Those answers depend on your specific circumstances, and getting them wrong has real consequences — so they need a registered tax agent or your state revenue office, not an email from us.
We’re not a registered tax agent service and we’re not affiliated with any revenue office. See the Terms & Conditions for the full position.
If your question is urgent and specific to your business, go straight to Revenue NSW, the State Revenue Office Victoria or the Queensland Revenue Office — they answer questions about your own account, and we can’t.
